A message from Jon, Club chair.
Our Club is run by Stroke survivors and their families plus a number of other volunteers for Stroke survivors and their families. We welcome members from Leeds and the surrounding areas. We offer Club meetings on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at Oakwood Church in Leeds. Each meeting provides plenty of time for a chat and a cuppa then some entertainment or an interesting speaker. We have over 30 members and over a dozen volunteers. Our 'Reaching Out' project offers a friendship telephone service for those who are unable to get to our physical meetings as well as supporting Stroke survivors and others in Care Homes.
We offer a warm and friendly welcome, your first trial meeting is free to attend, then it's £5 per meeting that helps us cover room hire, light refreshments and the entertainment. Please give me a call on 07831 315 907or drop me an email on jhart.jon@gmail.com
