Help with your research or academic project

We welcome contact from health and social care professionals such as those working in Stroke rehabilitation, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and others who way be carrying out research or other projects that could aid Stroke survivors. Similarly we also welcome approaches from students or academic institutions carrying out Stroke related research projects.

We're currently assisting with a number of projects:

Neuro Wellbeing Research led by the University of Oxford. Help develop a staff focussed training scheme for those suffering from a brain injury including Stroke Contact the research team for further information about how you can be involved.

Exploring the potential impact of green spaces for in-patient stroke units. This is a mixed methods research study aimed at stroke survivors. You can find out more here and contact the research team for further details.

Whilst we try to help as much as we can, we are a social club for our members so may have to limit the number of requests for assistance and you may be asked to join a waiting list. Please email Jon at jhart.jon@gmail.com if you would like to discuss your project.

The Stroke Association provide a wide range of resources for health and care professionals and students. Find out more from their website.
