How to support us

Display a poster or follow us on social media

We are always seeking help to publicise our Club so that as many Stroke survivors and their families know that we exist. We are particularly looking for support from GP surgeries and other health and care settings to display our poster. We are activate on X, Facebook, BlueSky and LinkedIn. Find us by clicking the social media icons at the bottom of this page or search for @Roundhaystroke on LinkedIn, X or BlueSky and roundhay.stroke.support.club on Facebook.

Donate a raffle prize

At each group meeting, we offer a free raffle for those attending and we are always on the look out for unwanted gifts you may have or donations from local businesses that we could use as prizes. Please drop off any donations at one of our meetings at Oakwood Church.

Become a volunteer driver

Lots of our Club members have mobility and/or transport issues as a result of their Stroke. Where we can, we offer lifts from our volunteers to as many people as possible. This is a major call on our resources and we are always seeking new volunteers to add to our team of volunteer drivers.

Please contact Jon by email if you are able to help: jhart.jon@gmail.com

Become a corporate supporter

We rely on our member subscriptions and corporate supporters and donation to support Stroke survivors and their families.

Visit our corporate supporters page to find out how you can help.

Individual gifts and donations

We welcome individual donations from members, their families and supporters. Although affiliated to the Stroke Association, we are an independently financed and run reliant on our members and supporters. We do not receive any funding from the Stroke Association. Collections from funerals and other donations are gratefully received and all the donation goes to the Club. All donations are acknowledged at Club meetings unless you would prefer that it remains private. Please contact Jon at jhart.jon@gmail.com to discuss making a donation.
